Chemical Peels

Remove damaged skin layers to reveal fresh, youthful skin beneath.

Shed the old to embrace the new.

What is a Chemical Peel?

Chemical peels are a noninvasive skin procedure popular for treating severe acne and pigmentation. They gently exfoliate the top layer of skin with a solution comprised of different acids. During the procedure, a professional will apply a solution to your face, which triggers the “peeling” process, eventually removing the upper layers of skin. By removing dead epidermal cells, your skin starts naturally regenerating, resulting in a smoother, more even complexion.

Chemical Peel Benefits

  • Minimize pores
  • Soothe acne scars
  • Correct sun spots and age spots

  • Improve skin texture, resulting in a polished look

Chemical Peel Aftercare

It’s common to experience a second “peeling” 2-7 days after your procedure. In some cases, it may take up to 14 days for your skin to heal fully. However, a chemical peels followed by our signature Exo-V treatment can cut your recovery to 24 hours or less.

Why opt for an Exosome Chemical Peel with Exo-V?

  • Spend less time hiding indoors and more time enjoying your fresh new look
  • Get 2-3x the youthful aftereffects of a regular chemical peel
  • Enjoy longer-lasting results

Frequently Asked Questions

How do chemical peels work?

Your skin naturally has a pH of around 5.5. Applying an acidic solution reduces the pH level of your skin, which in turn loosens the top layer of skin (epidermis), resulting in a shedding or “peeling” of the top layer. This also stimulates your skin’s natural regeneration process, boosting collagen production and resulting in a youthful, refreshed complexion.

What types of acids are used in a chemical peel?

The acids used depend on the type of chemical peel best suited for your skin concerns. Superficial chemical peels, which only remove the epidermis, may include glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid, mandelic acid, phytic acid, or retinoic acid. Medium-depth peels, which exfoliate the top dermal layers, and deep chemical peels, used for severe skin issues, may involve more heavy-duty solutions.

My skin is sensitive. Will an exosome chemical peel work for me?

If you have sensitive skin, your skincare professional may recommend a mild chemical peel, followed up by Exo-V Serum and our Facial Mask, to speed up the downtime. You can also purchase a take-home exosome facial kit to support your skin’s natural regeneration process.
